Have you ever been to a cocktail party?  A few years ago I was invited to a party which said Cocktail Attire? What in the world is that? I know cocktail drinks but dress? I thought mixing to outfits was ridiculous. Well I had to wear something formal or semi formal short gown.A little above the knee or two inches below the knee. 

So now about the Cocktail Party. It is an adult only event and of course the it has to have drinks. It is a nice and easy way to invite a range of people, the next door neighbour all the way to a business associate.The party does not have to be longer than 2 hours. Have a lot of variety on the menu. Since everybody will be eating only little of everything they will have the option of trying something else if they don't like one thing. The party can be followed by a dinner party.

Stock up on Whiskey, Vodka, Wines and Bear. If you being a little more extensive you could add Gin,Tequila, Rum,Sherry and Brandy.

Since it will be a cocktail a party have mixers like Worcestershire sauce, orange juice, Ginger Ale,Tomato juice, Soda, Cola, lemons and limes.

These  Cocktail drinks have been popular. Dirty Martini, Apple Martini, Cosmopolitan (from Sex and the City), Margarita, Stinger, Boxcar. Of course you can go ahead and try mixing some of your own. 

Keep the local cab company's number handy. You never know who might need a ride home. Drink Responsibly and party like you never did before.
