Hydrating Chocolate Mask

To make this mask take a small bowl and combine together 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon fresh yogurt, 2-3 drops of lime juice and 2 drops of wheat germ essential oil. Blend nicely to form a smooth and thick paste. You can also add some milk to get the desired consistency. Besides, yogurt can be substituted with fresh cream in case your skin is excessively dry.

Apply the mixture evenly to your face and neck after cleansing. Leave the mask for 25-30 minutes and then wash off with warm water.

This mask helps has softening properties while lactic and citric acid from yogurt and lime can help lighten skin. Use this mask at least 2-3 times a week for best results.

Exfoliating Chocolate Scrub

Take a small bowl and mix 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, 1 tablespoon cornmeal, 1/2 teaspoon powdered oatmeal and 1/4 teaspoon sugar in it. Add milk to form a thick and smooth paste. Also, add a few drops of wheat germ essential oil to the mixture.

Clean your skin and start massaging in gentle circular movements all over face and neck. Massage till the sugar melts and mixture begins to flake off. Wash your face with warm water and then with ice cold water.

This scrub will not only remove dead skin cells but will also nourish and hydrate skin. The presence of wheat germ essential oil will also aid in keeping skin soft and supple.
