Chocolate Easter Cakes: the ingredients

The ingredients for making chocolate Easter cakes are easy available; surprisingly you may find most of the items available in your kitchen shelves even without your special knowledge about it. The ingredients are

  • whole milk
  • soft butter, unsalted variety
  • caste sugar
  • eggs
  • all purpose flour
  • cake flour
  • ground almonds
  • baking powder

 

Decoration is a part of Easter chocolate cake: the ingredients for decoration are

  • Double cream
  • Plain chocolate
  • Coarsely chopped milk chocolates
  • Cocoa powder for dusting

 

The way to make Easter chocolate cake

 

  • Preheat the oven in 180 degree centigrade
  • Crush the chocolates and add them with milk in a heatproof bowl and place the bowl on the surface of a water slight boiling so that the chocolate gets melted with the poured milk.
  • Take another bowl and make an even mixture by adding butter and sugar; you should beat the mixture until it gets mixed. After making an even mixture of butter and sugar add flour, baking powder, and almonds. Now add the melted chocolate and milk in this mixture and stir constantly for even mix up.
  • Now you have to divide the mixture in between the prepared tins, should level the surfaces and put them for baking for 20-25 minutes. Get them removed from the tine and allow them to be cool.

 

  • Now it is time to make truffles. You have to place melt some cream, add the chocolate in it and heat the blending until, chocolate gets melted. Pour the mixture in a small bowl and after 15-20 min place it in fridge till it gets enough dense to be in a mould shape.

 

  • Put each of the mould in egg shape and get them smeared with cocoa powder. let the mould be cooled in fridge.
  • In order to make a chocolate coating you have to melt down some chocolates and hit the chocolates to that level it gets completely melted. Place the melted chocolate in fridge till it gets condensed to form a shape.
  • Now for assembling the cake you have to place I sponge layer then a layer of chocolate cream and then place the second sponge layer on it. The top of the cake should be covered with chocolate cream.
