I was very happy to find out that I was one of the lucky winners of Chef Hari's new cookbook 'Modern Indian Cooking' and even more happy when the book arrived a few days ago.  I have not yet tried any of the recipes but I have had a chance to look through.

The first thing you will be impressed by are the colorful, artistic photographs so vivid I wanted to smell the pages. (o.k. you might think that is a little wierd......but get the book & you will know exactly what I mean). 

I found the recipes to be straight forward and conscise.  The book is very well organized and takes you from start to finish, making it possible to create an entire menu.  There is even a selection of drink and dip recipes.  Very nice!

This cookbook can serve the home cook as well as the professional with easy to follow/inspirational recipes.  It is a welcome addition to my library.
