Caveman diet review states that the caveman diet is a simple approach to food that can aid in weight loss as well as help in maintaining the healthy weight. The caveman diet deals with consuming food like our ancestors. A high protein and high fat diet is followed with no or minimum amount of carbohydrates.

 

Caveman diet prescribes food that can be eaten raw or minimum cooked like root vegetables, nuts, berries, eggs etc. The diet is protein based. Another aspect of the diet is not consuming dairy products, beans or sugars. Since there is total abstinence from eating processed food, caveman diet review claims that it could be healthy.

 

The difficult part about the diet is the is that it involves consumption of meat and hence might not be for the vegetarians. Moreover excess meat eating can be bad for the heart. Meat can increase cost of the diet too!

 

Exercise is an integral part of the diet according to caveman diet review since the cavemen were active and living like them is what the diet prescribes. Even though there are no specific exercise routines to be followed, general work outs are encouraged for the success of the diet.
