Carrie Fisher, the original Princes Leia Organa of Star Wars trilogy, has now lost 50 pounds over the past 9 months. This 54 year old veteran actress believes that women over 40 can actually wear bikinis and look good while at it. She'll probably wear her metal bikini from Star Wars sooner than we think, considering the rate at which she is shrinking. The Wishful Drinking actress took the help of Jenny Craig Inc. and she now has a much slender figure.

When Carrie Fisher was 50 pounds heavier, she said that she "couldn't leave the house [to go shopping], because they didn't have sizes [large enough]...I exhausted the alphabet on bra sizes." A lot of women can relate to that situation.

“I truly never thought I’d be able to lose the weight I gained- I mean, once I found out just how much I’d gained- really it was beyond daunting. When I first started Jenny, I didn’t really believe I’d be able to lose even part of the weight, much less all of it.
