Cadbury Introduces Low Calorie Chocolate Bar For Women
![]()
Cadbury, a name that has been synonymous with chocolate for decades now, is feeling the pinch of slumping sales. The Kraft food division, parent company of Cadbury, has identified the cause as women buying less and less of the sweet treats for fear of gaining weight. Therefore, they've introduced ‘Crispello’, a single chocolate bar aimed specifically at women.
The new, trendy bar is the first product to be launched by Cadbury since the 1990s. The bar contains only 165 calories as opposed to the 260 calorie Mars bar. It will also consist of three distinct wafers, filled with a soft and gooey milk chocolate that melts in your mouth. The resealable pack also ensures that woman can nibble on a small piece at a time, making it a "reduced-guilt" treat for those who are determined to lose weight but not completley give up their sweet tooth.
Touted as ‘a little treat for you’, the Crispello is expected to be available October 8th. The 30gram chocolate bar will cost $1.00 initially.
