The relation between breakfast and weight loss can no longer be ignored. I learned the hard way that skipping breakfast definitely leads to a decreased immunity and weight gain. Yes, Weight Gain! That’s the truth and Break Fast for Weight Loss is no myth!

This is how it works, the days you skip breakfast you have a tendency to eat more mini meals (mostly unhealthy food, high in calorie) throughout the day and this inevitably leads to a high intake of calories. So eventually, breakfast eaters tend to eat fewer calories, less saturated fat and cholesterol and have better overall nutritional status than breakfast skippers.

Plan a breakfast menu that answers positively to these questions

  • Will it keep me full till lunch?
  • Is it healthy?
  • Is it good for my energy levels?.

The rules for the best break fast for weight loss are

1. Drink one or two glasses of warm water as soon as you get up.

2. Include Fruit or Vegetable juice and salad

From oranges to carrots pick fruits and vegetables that are rich in vitamin and fibers. It will be a good idea if you can stick to fruit salads when having Vegetable juices and vice versa. The fiber in them will keep you full and prevent you from eating more

3. Include Cereals, oatmeal, bran or whole grain bread are also healthy breakfast for weight loss. You can add fruits to these to make them tastier!

4. Finally, switch from coffee and tea to milk, green or herbal tea or yoghurt.

Once in a while you can indulge in richer food, but never skip breakfast. Remember that, if you want to continue fitting into those skin tight jeans you got last year!
