November first week

This is the time to plan your meal budget and begin thinking about the foods which you are going to serve on Thanksgiving. Mid November –

  • You need to have your menu ready now.

2 Days Before Thanksgiving –

  • Cook soups, yams and cranberry sauce. Keep it in a cool place.

1 Day before Thanksgiving -

  • Start stocking your bar. Purchase juices, soda, tea, coffee and other drinks.
  • Complete the baking.
  • Start the brining of the turkey

 

Thanksgiving Day -

  • Prepare the turkey stuffing
  • Assemble various fresh fruits for centerpiece
  • Wash, peel and chop all vegetables for cooking.
  • Cook potatoes and then mash these. Put them into the crockpot on low, so that they stay warm.
  • Cook the turkey with stuffing
  • Prepare the relish tray
  • Place cooked dishes on table, arrange cutleries and water for your guests.
