These fruits and vegetables are rich in vitamins that your body needs. Some of them are rich sources of antioxidants that fight free radicals. Since the incidents of cancer and rising cholesterol in the blood are so high these days doctors advise their patients to stick to a healthy diet.

Kiwi fruits are good for people with respiratory problems. One or two kiwi fruits a day is great as it contains lots of potassium and vitamin C. Guavas are a better substitute for tomatoes as it contains antioxidants and lycopene which prevent prostrate cancer.
Cabbage is a great source for Vitamins, K and C and is good for bones. It contains antioxidants too. Cabbage is also rich in water content and therefore easily digestible.
It is best to steam the vegetables and leaves such as broccoli, cabbage, kale and dandelion.
