- Normal - Hair is shiny but not greasy, and easy to manage.

- Dry - Dry hair is difficult to control after shampooing, looks dull and has ends that are dry and split.
- Greasy dry - Greasy dry hair is greasy nearest to the scalp while the ends are dry.
Eat Well For Healthy Hair
The beauty of hair depends largely upon on good health and nutrition. Since hair is made from keratin - a protein, a high protein diet can initiate healthy hair growth. Vitamin B complex plays a vital role in hair health and it is advisable to consume foods that contain this in abundance, such as eggs, liver, brewer’s yeast etc. Hair requires other nutrients too like copper, iodine, iron, and these can be assimilated from foods such as green leafy vegetables, fresh fish, eggs, cheese, and meat.
Vital Pointers Regarding Diet and Hair
- Do not eat fried food in you have greasy hair. Opt instead for green vegetables and salads.
- Add a little bit of oil in your diet if you have dry hair. This does not mean that you gorge on fried food. A healthy balanced diet with emphasis upon foods rich in essential oils such as tree nuts, tuna, coconut, etc. will help you turn your tresses into shiny and lustrous crowning glory.
- Remember to include greens, eggs, and cheese in your regular diet for maintaining your shiny lustre.
