Beatles Recreated With Breakfast Food
Britain’s momentous year along with the 50th anniversary of the Beatles’ first recording at Abbey Road was celebrated with food. The restaurant chain of Beefeater Grill asked the renowned food sculptor Paul Baker to recreate the cover of ‘Abbey Road’ by Beatles. And Paul delivered it in four days by making use a host of breakfast foods which included tomatoes, cereal, eggs, croissants and of course the English favorite, hash browns. Baker also kept in mind Paul McCarthy’s vegetarianism and created him solely with mushrooms. John Lennon and Ringo Starr came together in the form of bacon and eggs while George Harrison was made out of sausages. The artwork has been labeled, “Let It Bean” and the restaurant hopes its customers will look in to view the art and stay for breakfast too.
