Some people like their bacon somewhat burned, while others enjoy a bit of fat left after cooking. Bacon is a fatty cut of meat, but it's tasty. Not all bacon is from a pig. In fact, vegetarian/vegan turkey bacon are available. Some people prefer bacon that is low in sodium, but whatever bacon you choose, the same cooking methods works for all.
