August menu comprises of lots of succulent fruits, fibrous veggies, many of them either grilled or cooked to delectable recipes. August menu calls for some fantastic creativity with dessert, custard, and seasonal foods. The midyear month is known for sultry, and humid clime throughout, so the foods we introduce in our menu should be equally cooling and filling. They should not leave you bloated, or upset your digestive system in any way. It is of utmost importance to create a deliberate menu for four weeks in a row, and follow your delights with high fervor. Let us crunch up some great August menu ideas for our family.

 

 

 

August Menu Ideas

Try to make judicious use of fruits and vegetables available in the season to mark the first week of August. You can garner the idea of available fruits and veggies during the season, and make best use of them.

Some of the fresh fruits available are:

Apples, Peach, Raspberries, Grapefruit, Pear, Custard Apple, Strawberry, plums, Kiwi, Cherries, Mangoes

Vegetables available are:

Lemon, Summer Squash, onions, potatoes, tomatoes, Radish, cucumber, eggplant, and green beans.

Week1

Add the zest of fruits and their derivatives to start your week. Make preparations like apple fruit custards, grape fruit dessert, you can prepare peanut chocolate parfrait bars with creamy mango toppings.

Make ice cream sandwiches for snack time, with your favorite cookies, and most adored ice cream flavors.

Banana split parfait can be made as rich, creamy substitute to fruit chops. You can add ice cream blobs to it for chilled versions.

In main course menu, you can have grilled meat with sauce, or mint curry. Also you can make some turkey burgers or cabbage burgers.

Week 2

You can have chicken salads with hot bread and mayonnaise. For vegetarian menu you can plan for potato salad, or sweet potato salad with mushroom and peas. Other menu ideas can be dedicated to salmon burgers, salmon and steamed rice food, Red beans and salads, cucumber juice with Italian bread salad.

Week 3

You can keep this week for special flavored pasta, and sea food. Make some red pasta with infusions of tomatoes and team it up with shrimp salad.August Menu Bean and tuna salad can be served with bacon and rice. Turkey rice salad is another great favorite among summer dwellers.

Week 4

Here arrives the week to thrill your senses with wine and viands. Make red wine and chicken wings salad. Spruce it up with shreds of cucumber and cilantro. Make some great and hearty tomato and lettuce salad, with sprouts and greens. Splash it up with orange or mint juice. You can have filling veggie tacos and wrap up your week with some bacon sandwiches, or cheese cakes.
