The young actor Jeremy Irvine, 21, confessed that he ate too much food on the sets of War Horse, a war drama film directed by Steven Spielberg which released on Christmas day in the United States.
            

The food service was obviously way too good that Irvine couldn’t help but indulge. He told New York Magazine, "I made the mistake while I was filming War Horse of eating all the food. You see the craft-service food the production sets out and you make full use of it.” He also added, “the food was so good, and there was so much of it! You stock up for a week.”

His weight gain earned some smugly funny remarks from his friends. Irvine confessed, "So I went from being thinner to putting on a stone in three months! I was telling my friends that I was doing the movie, and when the press came out with the first images of me as Albert, I got about 15 to 20 texts from my friends saying, 'Jeremy, did you eat the horse?'"

Whether or not Jeremy Irvine ate the equivalent of a horse, we might see him riding a horse in a movie adaptation of Charles Dickens’ Great Expectations in 2012.
