A Turkish Breakfast Menu!

Turkish breakfast is such a healthy and delightful spread that I make it a point to include it at least once in a week. The Turkish cuisine is a blend of various cultures and is also region specific. The elements of a traditional Turkish break fast are different in different parts of Turkey.

The Turkish breakfast menu is light on your stomach and has an assortment of raw and barely cooked food item. My Turkish Breakfast menu has:

1. Turkish Sourdough White Bread recipes known as Ekmek - this bread is consumed during afternoons too. On other times you can also serve the Turkish Circular Sesame Bagels known as Simit

2. Beyaz peynir - A salty Turkish breakfast cheese that takes its name from its white color. It is often eaten plain in a traditional Turkish breakfast.

3.Sucuk (spicy Turkish sausage). This is a delicious spicy sausage made of ground mat with cumin, salt, red pepper, garlic and other spice.

4.You can serve butter, jam/marmalade or honey, and an assortment of olives, eggs, tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers with this.

Hope you enjoy this Turkish Breakfast Menu
