In this blog ,I am going to tell you about those 5 recipes to make after a thundersnow .  Since last week my city was facing the harshest thundersnow of the decade the schools were shut down and commuter trains were canceled and most of the cars were tucked down in the garages. I could see some kids buying their time by throwing  snow balls on each other. With lots of free time on hand I seriously started thinking about the recipes to make after thundersnow.  I referred many recipe books and came across these five recipes to make after a roaring thundersnow.  With my experiences I can certify that you won’t go wrong if you are considering these five recipes to make after a roaring thundersnow.

  1. Chai Spiced Hot Chocolate:  I would say this is best amongst the recipes to make after thundersnow. This chai spiced hot chocolate is squared by lacing the spices with piping hot white chocolate.  The spiced hot chocolate tastes good only when top quality white chocolate is used. But if you are not fond of the spicy chocolate then you can have simple chocolate drink.  After hearing it don’t you feel this is the best way to gel up the celeberatory mood?

  2. Aunt Bill’s Brown Candy:  I never had any inkling about including this into the list of five recipes to make after a thunderstorm because whenever I cooked it the experiences were richer.  I still treasure some memorable family moments with the preparation of this candy. You need to combine ingredients like baking soda, white sugar, heavy cream, butter, pecan halves, and vanilla extract  and bake them at 248 degrees for atleast 15 to 20 minutes.  I would say that you will be thrilled on choosing this as one of the recipes to make after thundersnow.

  3. Cardamom Pecan Scones:  I was very proud to choose this as one of the five recipes to make after a thunderstorm. I squared the cardamom pecan scones by combining ingredients sugar, flour, baking soda, salt, lemon zest, pecans, cardamom pods, chopped pecans, egg white, etc.  You just need to bake the scones for about 10 to15 minutes till they turn golden brown.  If you are not fond of cardamom pecan scones then you can also try out other spicy scones. I believe that you will agree with me if I say that you have made wise choices by including this in the list of five recipes to make after a thunderstorm.

  4. Eggs in Potatoes, Capers and Artichoke Hearts: The eggs are my all time favorite, so I thought of including this egg recipe in the list of the five recipes to make after a thunderstorm.  I just squared this recipe by combining ingredients like onions, thyme, spices, potatoes, capers and artichoke hearts. Actually the cooking procedure is done two steps: first the potatoes, capers and artichokes are cooked to prepare a sauce and then eggs are baked at 375 degree Fahrenheit for about 10-15 minutes.  I am damn sure that after squaring this dish you will be proud of your choice of choosing it as one of the recipes to make after thundersnow.

  5. Beaf and Bean Chili Recipe: This is one of my all time favorite amongst the five recipes to make after an icy thunderstorm.  I squared of this chili recipe by combining the ingredients like garlic, onions, peppers, tomatoes, black pepper, chili pepper, salt, sugar and cooked black beans.  This chili recipe is my family's all time favorite.
