During her career, she has been a high school cooking teacher, marketing consultant, professional speaker, TV presenter, radio broadcaster, author and multimedia producer and consultant. She has more than 25 years experience in presenting, (including over 1000 hours of live TV); self published and released two books and her first cookbook “First Principles - The Basic Cooking Handbook", sold 100,000 copies. As well as Black Book Cooking and her consulting work, she also currently produces and presents BiteSize Cooking®, a series of daily 45 second radio vignettes which air nationally throughout Australia on metro and regional radio stations and has presented several television segments on various Australian free to air and cable networks. She consults to a number of leading Australian companies on online marketing and social media, product development, consumer education, web strategy and multimedia production. She plays an active role in the food industry in both paid and volunteer positions and has been invited to judge several food industry awards. She created the website for the Australian Association of Food Professionals and is the webmaster and she has been recognised by her peers in the Food Industry, winning two Food Media Awards for radio.
